Ciao sweeties! E' da tanto che ci pensavo, oggi ho deciso di farlo, cioè dedicare un post alla mia attrice preferita, e che personalmente considero anche un'icona di classe e stile, Audrey Hepburn. Non vorrei dilungarmi troppo con le parole, preferisco parlino le immagini che ho scelto. Audrey, nata nel 1929 a Bruxelles, studiò danza al Conservatorio dal 1939 al 1945 e, nel 1948 si trasferì a Londra dove continuò le sue lezioni di danza dalla famosa insegnante Marie Rambert. Però, a causa della sua altezza e della malnutrizione causata dal periodo bellico, l'insegnante non le diede molte speranze di diventare un giorno una prima ballerina, così Audrey, forse anche per le parole della Rambert, tentò la carriera di attrice...tutti sappiamo come andò a finire! Nel 1954 vinse subito l'Oscar come migliore attrice nel suo primo film americano, Vacanze Romane. Ha lavorato con attori di altissimo livello, tra i quali Humphrey Bogart, William Holden, Fred Astaire, Maurice Chevalier, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, solo per citarne alcuni, e ci ha lasciato film indimenticabili, tra i quali voglio ricordare quelli che amo di più, Sabrina, Colazione da Tiffany, Cenerentola a Parigi, Arianna, My Fair Lady, oltre naturalmente a Vacanze Romane. Ma, come vi accennavo, preferisco dare spazio alle immagini! Un abbraccio :)
Ciao sweeties! It's long since I thought about, and today I've decided to do it, that is to dedicate a post to my favourite actress, that I also consider a style and classy icon, Audrey Hepburn. I don't want to pull out too much with words, I prefer to show you images that I've selected. Audrey was born on 1929 in Brussels, studied ballet at Conservatory from 1939 to 1945 and, in 1948 move to London where she continued her ballet lessons with the famous Marie Rambert. But, because of her height and poor nutrition provoked by the war period, her ballet teacher doesn't gave her so much chances to became one day a prima ballerina, so Audrey, probably also for the words of Marie Rambert, attempted the actress career...all of us know how how it goes! In 1954 she won the Oscar for best Actress in her first american motion picture, Roman Holiday. She has worked with very important actors, among which Humphrey Bogart, William Holden, Fred Astaire, Maurice Chevalier, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, and she gave us unforgettable motion pictures, among which I want to mention those I love more, Sabrina, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Funny Face, Arianna, My Fair Lady, of course in addition to Roman Holiday.
